Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Zion and YG Marley to headline DSTV Delicious Festival – Texx and the City

Posted on July 24, 2025

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, Ms. Lauryn Hill, arrives in SA this September alongside Wyclef Jean, Zion Marley & YG Marley, as the duo make special appearances in celebration of the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour.

With hits like “Zion”, the 70s-inspired “Doo Wop (That Thing)” and “Everything Is Everything”, Ms. Lauryn Hill‘s revered offering was selected as the Best Album of All Time by Apple Music, and now South Africans get a chance to relive the magic of the album live, at the DStv Delicious International Food Festival on Sunday 21 September.

Over Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit will come alive with dynamic activations, festive experiences, and a rich tapestry of musical eras, genres, and styles across two stages. On what promises to be a spirit-filled Sunday, South Africa’s prized gospel group Joyous Celebration Rewind will spread their gospel alongside selected alumni, including the Idols South Africa and SABC Crown Gospel Award-winning Khaya Mthetwa.

Afterwards, the SAMA Award-winning and NAACP Award-nominated Mandisi Dyantyis will grace the stage with his fusion of indigenous African music and jazz idioms. Zoë Modiga, a recipient of both Glamour’s Woman of the Year: Musician Game Changer Award and Standard Bank’s Young Artist Award in 2023, will complement this with her own stirring, Afro-realist take on jazz.

The fantastic musical pairings continue throughout the day as the 11-time SAMA Award-winning queen of South African Afro-soul, Lira, continues her triumphant return to stage. Lira’s delightful blend of Afropop, R&B and jazz will coalesce with the nostalgic hip-hop/soul of Ms. Lauryn Hill, who will deliver an incomparable performance with longtime collaborator Wyclef Jean as musical guest.

Early bird general admission tickets are available until 28 July at R650.

Delicious Lounge tickets on the main arena at R2,500 per person, or tickets for the all-inclusive Injabulo Lounge on The Terrace at R8,350 per person.

Secure your tickets via Ticketmaster, or visit www.deliciousfestival.com for more details.
